🙋‍♂️About me

I didn’t start Movin’ On Up because I love lifting furniture — I started it to build something my daughter could be proud of.
This business is rooted in faith, hard work, and the belief that every move is more than just boxes — it’s part of someone’s life story. And I take that seriously.

📖 My Story

name is Austin, and Movin’ On Up started with a simple goal — to do honest, meaningful work that puts people first and honors God in the process. I didn’t always plan to start a moving company, but over time, I kept finding myself in situations where I could help people during some of the biggest transitions in their lives.

I remember helping a family move during one of my earliest jobs. They were going through a tough season — not just physically moving houses, but emotionally starting over. I wasn’t running my own company yet, but I took the job seriously. I wrapped every piece with care and stayed until the last box was unloaded. As I was leaving, the dad shook my hand and said, “You didn’t treat us like a job. You treated us like people.” That stuck with me.

It made me realize this work is about more than just moving stuff. It’s about showing up for people when they’re stressed, overwhelmed, or starting something new. That’s what I’ve built Movin’ On Up around — service that reflects something bigger than myself.

I believe God calls us to do everything with purpose, and this company is my way of living that out. Whether it’s a small apartment or a full family home, I treat every move like it matters — because it does.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
